Combating the winter blues is a must for all of us- it is so easy to get stuck in a chilly rut, feel like the whole world is grey and gloomy, and generally spend a lot of time wishing the weather were different. Well, people of Britain, we have a solution. Decking your house out with (plastic) palm trees, covering the kitchen floor in sand (at your discretion), cracking out the boardies and inviting your chums round for a summer themed bash is the perfect seasonal pick-me-up. Of course, at any occasion such as this, refreshing beverages are required- how about using the water from your home watercooler to make some snazzy ice cubes. Simply cut up fruit of your choice and place in the tray with the water, and hey presto, unique ice that will certainly get your guests talking. Mix them in with some fruity cocktails and you’ll soon forget that the weather outside is frightful.
