If you’re concerned about your home water cooler fitting in with the décor, and particularly with the time of year, we have some suggestions for dressing it up, which can of course make taking a drink of water just that little more fun.
Spring: A homemade bird’s nest of twigs and twine will sit comfortably on top of your cooler; why not invest in some toy chicks to fill it? A great spot for hiding Easter eggs, too.
Summer: A simple sunhat might suffice in this instance (also acts as a handy bottle cover), however dressing your cooler in Hawaiian shirts is also a possibility if you’re really getting in the spirit of summer.
Autumn: Lovely autumnal colours certainly compliment any water cooler; how about bunches of fallen, golden leaves, conkers strung together wrapped around the bottle?
Guy Fawkes: Dress your cooler up as the man himself- hat, trousers (maybe pinned to the front of the cooler, or maybe use a skirt if you insist on fully dressing your machine in your chosen outfit). We wouldn’t recommend putting him on the bonfire, though.
Christmas: There are several options here- two of which would be covering your cooler in fir branches and hanging tinsel upon it to disguise it as a Christmas tree, or you could stick cotton wool buds sporadically over your cooler, and hey presto, a snowman stands in your house.
If you decide to make any of these great ideas a reality, please do send us some photos. We always love to hear from you!
