Most of us probably do not realise this, but this device holds the key to a healthy lifestyle. Our body consists of more than 70% water and it is no news to us that drinking water has a strong effect on our body. We loose water everyday and it must be replaced, studies show that the average for men is 2.9 litres and for women 2.2 litres. Failing to do so puts us at a greater risk for some chronic diseases. Dehydration is reported to elevate the risk for coronary heart disease. It is not enough to exercise and stop smoking – we also have to drink large amounts of water. As it turns out it is as important as diet and exercise. Another study shows that drinking water regularly reduces the risk of breast cancer by 79%.

Dehydration is also linked to some conditions affecting the bladder, kidneys, and prostate. Some of results are prostate cancer and kidney stones. These patients consumed less than the recommended amount of water and the risk of these conditions would be diminished greatly if daily they consumed just 240 ml more water. Some other fluids were included in that study, but none of them had the impact of pure water.

If you are like many others who spend at least 7 hours at the office, and do not have the opportunity to exercise, drinking water from the water cooler will certainly help you maintain better health.

It’s important to take your time when deciding which water cooler to have in your home as there as many on the market in the United Kingdom at the moment. There are bottleless water coolers, bottled water coolers and countertop water coolers. All do the same job of providing purified drinking water, just in different ways.

Bottled Water Coolers
Bottled water coolers are great for the kitchen and easy to use by all members of the family including the little ones. You can rent or purchase bottled water coolers from The Water Delivery Company.

Bottleless Water Coolers
Bottleless water coolers filter and chill the water straight from your mains supply already present in your house either from pipes under the kitchen sink or from other locations. The water is then chilled/heated in the water cooler and used in a normal way. Bottleless water coolers cost less and are a more environmentally friendly way of supplying your family with drinking water. You can rent or purchase bottleless water coolers from The Water Cooler Company.

Countertop Water Coolers
Home Water Coolers stocks the Koolbabe countertop water cooler which saves on the cost of bottled water by using tap water and filtering it for taste. The Koolbabe is a small compact unit which is environmentally friendly compared to other desktop units as it uses a unique cooling process rather than refrigeration.

For more information on any of the above coolers please contact HomeWaterCoolers.co.uk on 0845 006 3309 or email contact@homewatercoolers.co.uk
