As it turns out it is as important as diet and exercise. Another study shows that drinking water regularly reduces the risk of breast cancer by 79%.

Dehydration is also linked to some conditions affecting the bladder, kidneys, and prostate. Some of results are prostate cancer and kidney stones. These patients consumed less than the recommended amount of water and the risk of these conditions would be diminished greatly if daily they consumed just 240 ml more water. Some other fluids were included in that study, but none of them had the impact of pure water.
