Troubleshooting your home water cooler (part 1)

first aid for your home water coolerWe love our home water coolers, but occasionally things can go wrong. We thought we’d compose a little troubleshooting guide which helps deal with some of the most common problems that our customers encounter, to help you save time in dealing with them.
Leaking cooler: If it appears that your home water cooler is leaking, it is most likely because of a hairline crack in the bottle. Simply remove the bottle (the valve in the cap will prevent any water left inside from spilling out) and replace. Please do let the office know that this has happened, and we’ll replace the bottle free of charge on your next delivery.

The water isn’t dispensing/water is only coming in small amounts from the tap: Air pockets can sometimes form inside your cooler when the bottle is changed, which can in turn mean that no water is being dispensed when the taps are released. Simply lift the bottle off the cooler, whilst another holds down the taps as though pouring a drink. This only needs to be done for a few seconds, after which the bottle can be replaced and water should flow at its normal pressure.

If you find that these tips do not solve your particular problem with your cooler, please do get in touch as soon as possible and we’ll send one of our engineers out to you.
